WHAT HAPPENED?
Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 after a successful spell at Borussia Dortmund. Then-Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich tried to lure the coach to west London, reports, but Klopp was turned off by the Blues owner's tendency to fire managers after a short period of time.

Klopp announced on Friday that he will step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season. The Reds boss joined the club in 2015 and has helped lead the club to success in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League among others.
